Hi, everyone - posted this on the AMOS boards and I am not sure if she

knows about this group... anyway, I didn't have AETNA or experienced

insurance problems, so I hope someone who has can address her concerns... If

she has posted here previously, please forgive me -- I don't remember

everyone's name and I don't think she's posted regularly if she has..... :)

I'm tentatively scheduled for WLS on October 9th, I plan to have a Duodenal

Switch, but Aetna will only cover a RNY. They say that my surgeon can do all

the RNY stuff, and anything he does beyond that (meaning DS) will have to

come out of my pocket. I've noticed a few people on this site who've gotten

covered for DS by Aetna, and I'm wondering if anyone has any tips for talking

Aetna into the DS for me.     -- Myers
