to answer your first question, no specaial shoes should be necessary after the

FAB but that brings up something else ...... the protocol on the FAB is that

you gradually reduce from 23 hours down to 18, then 16, then 14 and way down the

road you eventually reach a minimum of 12 hours - this over a long period of

months. I'm concerned that your dr. is saying go from 23 to 12 in one big step

as this increases the risk of the feet relaspsing, and beyond that, a lot of

children react poorly to such a huge, sudden reduction in hours with sleep

disorders and stuff. Mainly though it risks a relaps.

Can you tell us who your doctor is and how old your baby is ?

After Boots & Bar...

Hi, I was wondering if anyone can tell me if my daughter can wear

normal shoes after we get the Boots & bar off. Vivian still wears them

23h/day but starting next week she'll only have to wear them 12h/day??

Can I put normal shoes on her??When she starts walking does she have to

wear special orthodepic shoes??
