,Raspberries might be a little rough because of the seeds. I agree that peeled peaches would probably be better.AmeliaTo: BTVC-SCD Sent: Thu, March 4, 2010 12:26:37 PMSubject: jelly

So I made some jelly but cooking a couple cups of raspberries and then added a little honey. Should that be ok? I was eating it and wondering if it was ok that I didn't strain out anything? I just needed a little something sweet. Maybe something like peach would be more digestable. At this point I have no idea what works and what doesn't so I'm trying to keep it to foods that are very easy to digest.michelle

Raspberries might be a little rough because of the seeds. I agree that peeled peaches would probably be better.Although some find the fructose and other sugars that are higher in peaches harder on the gut, especially with D. If you can strain out the seeds (which is a hassle) the berries would probably be better, but if not, I guess it just depends on how well your digestion handles the sugars vs the seeds.
