Guest guest
I had it in spades in the early post-op months--I considered joining OPEC. (I had the DS which is similar to the distal RnY as far as the intestinal re-arrangement is concerned.) I took to wearing a maxipad in my undies for several months as insurance against soiling my trousers with a leak-through, though it never went beyond some " spotting. " And, the episodes lasted only for several weeks, though I wore the maxipads for several months, just in case. the oily discharges were a bright yellow-orange. Once the pace of rapid weight loss slowed a bit, the discharges stopped, and they have not recurred since. But, I was scared at the first instance until others explained the process to me. I recall one of our recent post-ops who seriously soiled his chino pants while he was standing and speaking at a support group meeting, and was not even aware what had happened. These discharges can really sneak up on you. --Steve At 12:42 AM +0000 8/12/03, ramonablu wrote: >Has anyone else experienced " oil " leakage when using the restroom?
