How does upper jaw surgery affect nose?

Hey everyone, I have a question. I have a 'pushed up' maxilla and I

was wondering by bringing it down, how much of a change would happen

with the nose? I ask because currently my nose is very upturned and

looks short.(btw I dont want the procedure just because of cosmetic

reasons, i was just curious). Thanks guys
