Guest guest
Dr. Heffez at UIC is amazing. After being told by another surgeon I needed 3 procedures in 2 surgeries, he told me I needed lower only. I am 2.5 weeks post-op and am recovering quickly. He has a good bedside manner and his team of residents are awesome (very knowledgeable and compassionate!). So far, so good. I am truly happy I went with him. > > Hi, I am also new to the group. I'm looking for any doctor rec's in the Chicago area. > I need surgery for my lower jaw. Any suggestions would be great. > > thanks > -ebony
Guest guest
Boy am i confused. How could there be so much of a variance on what type of surgery. Orignally my ortho told me to have 2 lower bicuspids removed and we would only need to do lower. the other day he said we need to wait until the final impressions before surgery. I have read enough to know that if he suggest upper and lower i will get a second opinion. he says my top jaw is in perfect alignment and we only needed to bring lower jaw 5mm with a genio for a good fit. Glad you only needed lower im sure your recovery is easier good healing
