Guest guest
I posted a before and after pic of myself in the photos page. They are near the bottom and titled . I never posted a before pic before the surgery because I was seriously afraid of members thinking Geeeeshh! What on earth is she getting jaw surgery to fix. The after photo shows my chin in all it's glory. I personally think that my midface is kinda flat and my chin is now way too big. This after photo is one of the better photos of myself. I will create a file and post some photos of my profile before (and after.... that is the really creepy one hehehehehe) with the surgery photos - the ones from 2 hours after the surgery to the 10th day. It's like a really backwards extreme makeover where you take the tan blonde hot cute girl and turn her into an ugly one. At least I have a sense of humor about it. It will be one year this February 25th. The surgeon urged me to give it at least 6 months to settle in. But, your facial fat alone can make a big difference in your appearance and how the skin lays on your new bone structure. I am 100lbs, so there was not very much to work with there. Anyways, as for the photos, my surgeon only showed me two post-ops and these people had to sign release forms stating that it was OK for their photos to be shown. The saw the most photos on this site and the other Yahoo ortho site. -anne > > > > > > > > > > > > Hi guys im still in the deciding stage of if surgery is > > > > something I > > > > > > want to do seeing how its only for cosmetic and it looks > ok > > now > > > > > just > > > > > > a slight gummy smile but only like a cm when fully smiling > > so > > > > that > > > > > > wasnt a concern of mine for me it was I have a bit of an > > > > overbite > > > > > > but everyone thinks i look normal but maybe i would look > > better > > > > not > > > > > > sure , guess I've always had one of those lips that are a > > bit > > > > high > > > > > > so unless I actually close my mouth on purpose then you > > always > > > > see > > > > > > my front teeth a bit .
