Guest guest
Hi All, I'm in my 4th week of SCD now. I felt bad upon starting the diet and almost gave up when all of a sudden I started feeling great (last week). I cut out the DCCC and reduced the amount of meat I was eating. I have introduced goat's milk yogurt and seemed to be doing great with it. All of a sudden this weekend, I started feeling bad again- joint pains, headaches, exhaustion, digestive issues. I am still eating the same foods I was eating last week and felt fine using. Could this be die-off again? Are people usually up and down in the beginning? I'm worried that this last batch of goat's milk yogurt may have not fermented correctly. Is there any way to know? Thanks for any advice, Cindy SCD 4 weeks Celiac, Candida

Are people usually up and down in the beginning? yes - it is a very unstable time as you are doing major work on shifting your gut ecology. > I'm worried that this last batch of goat's milk yogurt may have not fermented correctly. Is there any way to know? Sounds like it could be die-off. Take epsom baths to ease the joint pain. Mara
