, I am a little over 6 months (July 8,04)and I am at about the

same place you are, my jaw cracks ocasionally when I open it, it is

not painful though and I also have a spot on my lower right lip that

is still numb but it has some sensation, tingly feeling. I get a few

twinges of pain now and then and the plates bother me a little when

it rains (which has been everyday this month!)

So it would seem that we are right on track.

Hi,

I'm 7 months post-op and I do have the same cracking sounds. I must say . .

.. not as bad as the weeks after surgery. It has gotten better . . . I only

notice it now if I concentrate on it. I do have some lingering numbness in my

lower left chin. I do believe this is getting better too!!! Other than what I

have mentioned, I have had no other problems . . . thank God!!! I am able to

open my mouth 45mm and hopefully, come February, the braces will come off!!!
