Guest guest
Popcorn. In a bag. :0) Made in a pan on the stove, cooks in one minute flat. Mind, now, I thought I was being clever and cheap when I bought a 50 lb. bag of popcorn, something like a year or two's worth. It only cost about $8, and would put an end also to Philip making his own microwave popcorn constantly. And the only GFCF microwave popcorn is the plain stuff anyway, so why bother paying the price for microwave yucky plain popcorn? I get these goofy ideas sometimes, y'see, being so cheap and all. At 1 AM still shoveling popcorn into storage bags I didn't feel so clever, especially when I was putting the last bag away and hadn't quite sealed it properly. " Thar she blows! " Out of 50 lbs., 3 or 4 pounds weren't worth doing anything with but sweeping up and throwing away at that time of the morning. It *did* solve the problem of Philip making microwave popcorn three times a day. I'd *much* rather he'd pull a pan out of the pantry to the stove and slap a tin of popcorn and a stick of margarine on the kitchen table and demand, " POPCORN! " An added benefit is that he finds popcorn so much fun to play with, and I find it so much fun to walk on in my socks first thing in the morning when he's decided to make breakfast early, and popcorn is on the menu. The other item is usually " bacum, " topped off by Philip's choice of good healthy vitamin-filled breakfast drink. " Orange juice or cranberry juice, Philip? " " RED KOOL-AID! " Hey, live dangerously. Make your own. Kate melinda poist wrote: > Hi > > Can anyone recommend a good GFCF popcorn?
