Guest guest
Well, our ATTT surg is on the books for Feb 21st. My dh is a bit overwhelmed at the thought of keeping our daughter off of her feet for 6-8 weeks. Any help on how to get a two year old to keep from pulling up and trying to or actually walking? How do you keep them down? What tricks of the trade can you offer? HELP! LOL Chris We all get heavier as we get older because there's a lot more information in our heads. So I'm not fat, I'm just really intelligent and my head couldn't hold any more so it started filling up the rest of me! That's my story and I'm sticking to it! Guest guest
Hi I put together a box of new things for Jake to do after his surgeries, things he could do sitting down...here are some things I put in it: new coloring books & crayons magnadoodle (Jake loved this!!) a few new matchbox cars a few new trains for his brio train set new books a new movie or two Jake likes to play nintendo too so we did let him play that too, more than he would have normally. We also took him for walks; I just padded the wagon with pillows so he could lean back and have his cast leg elevated. One thing to keep in mind, Dr Dietz told us that Jake could crawl around, just no standing or walking. So he was able to be mobile. I'm sure it will be the same for your daughter. And since Jake only had the surgery on one leg, he could still stand on his good leg, in order to climb into chairs, bed, etc. Good luck to you! Give a holler if you need more ideas.
