Hi Carolyn,

I have been going through a divorce while going through this

surgery/recovery process. My 2/1/05 surgery was scheduled prior to

the 12/10/04 separation that I initiated and the divorce that was

filed by my husband on 1/3/05. Thankfully I received temporary

custody the day after surgery so I don't have to continue reacting to

my husband's need to take our son from school without notice. I take

things one day at a time, and have forced myself to stay positive so

I could recover quickly. I couldn't postpone surgery because it was

preapproved and covered under my husband's insurance plan that will

terminate once the divorce is final.

HI! I'm sorry to hear that you are going through a divorce also.

It is tough! On the other hand, I'm glad to hear there are others in

my situation...makes me feel better. Good luck with everything...I

will keep you in my thoughts!
