So that's why he was eager to move to Chattanooga!

Sorry... But post-Ivan most of us here along the Gulf Coast are

feeling the reverberations in a different kind of insurance.

Homeowners. Many companies are just refusing to write insurance on

us any more, including some of the ones that were most popular. The

others are happy to boost our rates -- mine, I'm thinking, is up by

150%. However, I can't really complain. At least they paid my claim

reasonably promptly, after a bit of grousing from me.
