I don't know if he will let the dentist look in his mouth and actually clean his teeth. But he is really into brushing his teeth right now so I figure it's a good time to try. My question is there anything that we should avoid or that I should know about before the visit. What about the paste that is used to clean the teeth. Is it o.k. for our children. Thanks, Jackie (Mom to ASD 6 yrs and NT 7yrs) > > ======================================================= >

My question is there anything that we > should avoid or that I should know about before the visit. When my kids go for a cleaning or check-up, they give them a little pink pill to chew. This is supposed to reveal the spots that were missed when brushing. It probably has some pink coloring among other things. That would be one thing to ask about. .
