Can you share some of the fast food stories? Do Mcs, Burger King or

s (also baked potatoes) fries contain gluten? I sometimes take my

daughter to Mcs and get her some of their fries, I was wondering if it

was safe.

Hi,

Does anyone know if any brand of canned chicken (chicken and salt only) is

GFCF? I've phoned two companies repeatedly (Valley Fresh in California and

Hill Country Fare in Texas) to ask for information, and neither has gotten

back to me. We're taking a long trip soon, and my son, who is hypoglycemic,

needs sources of protein which can be packed and not refrigerated.

All the stories I've read about fast food restaurants have scared me from

letting him eat there, so I'm looking for alternative protein sources. (He's

allergic to nuts, fish and almonds and I'm afraid to try other nut butters.

We don't use soy either.) Any suggestions or help would be greatly

appreciated.

Thanks!

Debbie

You would have to ask each individual restaraunt how they fry their foods and

if they filter the oils for all the foods together or not. I know of a

Mcs close by that told me that they fry their french fries seperately

but that all the oils are filtered together and used again. So make sure you

ask that question first and always ask the manager.
