Guest guest
Hi everyone. I've been out here lurking for a few weeks, just waiting for today so that I could post. I had LAP RNY on 7/30/02 with Dr. DelaTorre in Wentzville, MO. I weighed in at 285 with a BMI of 54.9 (or something like that). I went to my PCP this morning and have lost a total of 97 pounds, which puts me at 188. My goal weight (for myself) is between 125-130, so I still have a ways to go, but all is going well. I haven't had just a whole lot of the problems that so many of us WLSrs experience. I guess I've just been very very fortunate. My biggest supporter has been my husband. He came out of the bedroom yesterday morning and said " I like that outfit. I never recognize any of your clothes anymore " . But, when you're going in and out of clothes sizes every 6-7 weeks, it's like you have a new wardrobe all the time. I'm smaller now than I was when we were married, so from this point on, I'm a " new " woman to my hubby. Sorry for being so wordy! Take care! Janice in Mo.
