I hope everyone is excited about the year to come. I am sure we will have some good surprises as well as bad throughtout the year but I am excited to see what it will bring. There was a time when I didn't know if I would make it see this day but God has allowed me to see another year and for that I am thankful.

I did not go out to any celebrations last night due to some sinus problem I am experiencing that just came a few days after Christmas. I think all the change in atmosphere is taking its toll on me but I am just going to try to stay out of the air and wrap up good when I have to go out. But I am still excited about the new year.

Hopefully better days are ahead in this new year for us all. Happy New Year!!!

Hi Shauna, and thank you for sharing. I know with the sarc monster, it is hard to know day to day what we will face-- but one thing- it will be a new day each and every one!

the challenges we all face on this journey can either break us or make us. I know for me, I choose the 'make us' part.

Sometimes I know that my sense of humanity is stronger because of this disease. It makes me much more tolerant of others who are struggling in their own way. It also makes me less tolerant when I end up going against family when they see my surrender to the sarc as "giving up."

This last year was tough-- I was sick most of the year, and havign to set boundaries was hard for me. Still is, and will continue to be one of those things I will continually work on.

I do hope that everyone decides what they have to do to take care of themself as best as possible, as this is what is most "honoring" and brings us closer to our own "truth."

Know that a Blessed New Year is my vision for all of us,
