Guest guest
Hi there everyone, We haven't posted for a long time. We have Harvey who is now 20 months is running around and is a happy little man. Harvey had two clubfeet and we have been seeing Dr Minoo Patel here in Melbourne. Dr Patel has been wonderful as has his delivery of the Ponsetti Method for Harvey. We last saw Dr Patel a few months ago when Harvey was 18 months old. He mentioned that Harvey may need a tendon transfer at age 3. I was wondering whether any of you had the same procedure with any of your children ? Also, I found a new article on this procedure titled " Anterior Tibial Tendon Transfer in Relapsing Congenital Clubfoot: Long-Term Follow-Up Study of Two Series Treated With a Different Protocol " . It's on the Journal of Pediatric Orthopedics web-site. Go to www.pedorthopaedics.com and hit " Current Issue " tab. The article is listed as number 83. Hope to hear from you. - and e
