Guest guest
does any one have any words of encouragement if I've been scd for 5.5 months and want to get pregnant? I'm feeling great and not on any meds....I'm tolerating raw fruit although have barely begun to to start with raw veggis and am tolerating alot of cooked vegis as well as all proteins and nut flours/butters. I am physically in shape and have only recently been diagnosed so have not had this problem for more than a year. I'm so nervous about proper nutrition as well as getting a flare up. I've manged to get no flare ups since I've started but hope pregnancy wont cause one. any advice?? Thankyou
Guest guest
I was going to post a similar thread looking for scd pregnancy advice. I've noticed that prenatal vitamins irritate my stomach as does ibuprofen- don't know i they would for you too- I hear it might be the iron? If you can I think seeing a dietitian. might be reassuring- keep a food log for a week and bring the nut flour nutritional info. In the past while I had crohns but was not scd or taking meds (safety issues) I found that being pregnant actually made me feel better in general. i'd say the irst trimester would be the hardest with not having things like animal crackers or saltines to nibble on. > > does any one have any words of encouragement if I've been scd for 5.5 months and want to get pregnant?
