No. Just the prep, which is no better nor worse than pre-op.

No. Except that they cannot go into the duodenum, as your alimentary

channel is connected just distal to the pylorus, where the duodenum

used to connect. That means, practically speaking, that if your bile

duct is blocked, then can no longer get to it endoscopically through

the stomach.

Can do. And " in sight " is what endoscopy is all about!
