Good going, Chris! Hope it works out well.

The " Perfect Zero Carb Isopure " protein drinks that are clear, with a

gatorade-type consistency/flavors, were a godsend for me. No carbs, but *40

grams* of protein per 20-oz bottle. A little hard to find, esp in some of

the better flavors, but available at GNC stores, usually in the cooler

section. Spendy at $3.50 a bottle, but REALLY helpful for at least a while

initially when it was hard to get enuf fluids or proteins down. Note, this

is NOT a milky or thick or shake-like consistency product, it is NOT the

Isopure protein powders, or anything like that! It's a fairly unique

product, far as I can tell. From another list, a very kind person gave me

what is supposedly the only website for the stuff:

http://www.nojonetwork.com/inglasis12pa.html . Some of the flavors are on

back-order, but since you don't need them yet, maybe this will be an easier

way to get ahold of some of the better flavors.

Drink them *very* cold, shake 'em up if you don't like the occasional

protein flake floaters you see (which are tasteless), and I've heard

freezing it into popsicles is another good way to eat it. I've only ever

found the grape and orange flavors, and liked the grape much better than the

orange, but I hear the fruit punch and melon are quite decent. Good luck!
