Guest guest
Hi everyone! It has been a long time since I posted but for good reason. I had major computer problems which resulted in my computer crashing and we had to buy a new one. We have finally gotten a new one and hopefully I will be back in full swing on it in no time. Just a refesher on me, I had my surgery on August 26th 2003 with Dr. Freeman in Anniston. The day of surgery I weighed 375 #'s. As of this past Sunday I weigh 232 #'s which is a loss of 143 #'s. I am now almost 8 months out. Things have slowed down considerably in the weight loss. I now go a couple of weeks at a time without losing anyting. Here are my questions......is it normal to go a couple of weeks at a time without losing anything at this stage? Remember, I still have 50 pounds to lose to get to my doctors goal for me and 82 pounds to lose to get to my personal goal. How much should I be eating at this stage? I feel like I am eating so much but know that it is no where near what I ate pre-surgery. Yesterday was a typical day for me, let me know what I did wrong... Breakfast 1 trail mix bar Lunch Seafood salad (lots of shrimp) Supper Chicken and Rice mixture with veggies Snack Banana & 2 baby kosher dills Fluid intake Too much to keep up with!!!! Does anybody have any ideas what I can do to speed this thing back up? I have too much left to lose to stop now. My one year anniversary is not that far away and I would at least like to be to my doctors goal for me if now my own. Not to mention we have our Bariatric Ball coming up in October and I wanna be looking sharp for it!!!! Any input or help on this matter would be greatly appreciate!!
