I found an interesting website from Duke Orthopaedics that discusses the

Ponseti technique. It has some great before and after pictures as well as

extremely detailed description of exactly what bones must be manipulated and

in what order. It definitely shows how the Ponseti technique is not the same

as other casting methods (i.e. Kite method) and how the doctor must be very

skilled in the Ponseti method in order to move the bones correctly. I know

many doctors seem to think that all casting methods are created equal.

It also shows some pictures of surgical treatments for clubfeet. I think

this could definitely be of use for parents just starting out with treatment

so that they can inform themselves and also if they are still debating

surgery, this might just change their mind about that!
