Post-surg WLS folks that want insurance companies to pay for it also call it a panneculectomy, since insurnace companies won't pay for a " Tummy Tuck. " :-) Bob Panni versus tummy-tuck > Hi! Guest guest Posted September 17, 2001 Report Share Posted September 17, 2001 Donna, A panniculectomy takes off the " apron " that hangs down near your pubic area and sometimes below that......a tummy tuck includes tightening the muscles in the abdomen between the boobs and the waist.
