I saw a gastroenterologist today, & he confirmed my suspicions that my

troubles were more from IBS than DS.. He started me on a med called

Symax twice a day, & it has already made a huge difference, & I've

only taken 2 doses! I'm feeling sooooo relieved.. I was making it

ok.. but this med stops the spasms, so I don't have the uncontrollable

part now, either. I'm to follow up in 2 weeks, so we'll see. heh.. I

think he's planning to tackle 1 problem at a time.. he hasn't said

much about the pain on eating & drinking, but that might have been

because it has lessened.. Anyway, I'm feeling better.. but I hate his

scale. =( It weighs me 10 lbs heavier than my scale!
