I remember those sleepless nights! Be glad you found a sleeping position, if

only for a day! We did the double sock thing for a little while too. Moleskin

also helps. We used it on ELi's left ankle cuz that is the one he always wiggled

out of...i just put it over the entire area to protect the skin (no blisters so

far!) Enjoy your bathtime - it's eli's favorite time of day:) Eli has been in

theshoes for 5 weeks now, but those first two weeks were HELL. Just a word of

caution: make sure the shoes aren't too big. Eli's were and the first 5 days

with the big shoes were a mess. I had to readjust them constantly cuz he kept

slipping out. Once i went back to the orthotist to get a smaller pair, things

improved. Eli still didn't sleep well immediatly, but at least i only had to

readjust his shoes 1 or 2 times a day (instead of 10 like the first week). His

feet actually stick a little over the edge of the shoe now, but at leaast we

know his heel is down. i wish you luck and wasnt to

encourage you that it will get better. I never thought we'd get through those

first two weeks (especially cuz my husband was out of town for partof it), but

we did and eli is fine with the bar now. feel free to email me if you ned to

vent :)
