Hi again,

If anyone wants to get together & support each other while

exercising in your home, or even on a portable phone, you can get

together on a bridge-line. These are conference calls that only cost

the price of long-distance charges. I use these for teleclasses all

the time. Fortunately, I have a $20 a month unlimited toll and long

distance rate from SBC Global any time of day or night, so because I

have a flat fee for my long-distance, I can use these teleclasses as

often as I want.

When my coaching buddies & I want to get together for practice

sessions we use: www.freeconference.com ...it is free to sign up and

you just tell the bridge-line how many phones you need to reserve,

the time and date and then email your friends invitations to attend.

You'll need their names, email addresses and the time zone they live

in. Once you have this information you can develop a list and save

it for future calls. It is easy to add people as you go. I'd say

probably 10 people is the limit, as you will all want to chat

together and big groups limit how much you can talk. If this takes

off you can branch out and have multiple sessions a week at

different times. You could even post the bridgeline information on

the board and people could just come to visit. If someone can't get

into the call it will be because the limit to phone lines has been

met for that session. What I usually do is reserve 10 phone-lines,

mail out the invitations to our group, and also post the information

to our yahoo group list as well [like this one].

A friend from back east and I did an excercise meeting on the

treadmill once a week, for about a month. It was fun to chat and

walk. If you need help setting this up, I already have an account

and could help you initially get started. If anyone wants to do

this, let's talk. Lynda
