Dawn,

Hi ! I will be seeing Dr. Hess next month. Is it normal that

the common channel is 50 cm for his patients, or does he

use the 'measuring' method to determine the lengths of

the limbs and common channel ? Just curious :o)

Bye,

Donna

He does it by measurements. I had an unusually short small bowel (only

600cm) which is why he made my common channel 50 cm. His most common

measurement for a common channel is 75 cm. I have heard that he did 100 cm

common channels for a while, but doesn't do them much anymore. This would be

something good to talk to him about at your consult.
