Guest guest
Can anyone tell me a brand of legal mustard? I looked at Gluden's spicy mustard and everything else looked legal but it had listed generically " spices " . Do you consider " spices " legal? Also, when you are requesting a letter from a company to verify it's SCD legality, what do you ask them besides if they use sugar or starch in their product? Guest guest
Maille Dijon Originale Water, Mustard Seeds, Vinegar, Salt, Citric Acid, Sulphur Dioxide (preservative). I have french's yellow mustard--not legal but I thought most plain yellow mustards were ok. I think Great Value-Walmart-store brand may be ok. No letters, sorry. Now I'm wondering about the Maille. One of Emerils looked legal but I can't find it anymore. He has several flavors but only one (Dijon I think) looked ok. Debbie 40 cd > Can anyone tell me a brand of legal mustard? No, " spices " are not legal -- because some people consider sugar and other things to be a " spice. " Heaven knows what they might add under the guise of " spice. Guest guest
Similarly, Roland dijon mustard. In a letter you ask what is in the spices that they use. Mara > > Thanks, Debbie. I haven't heard of Maille before, so I may have trouble finding it, but I can go to Wal Mart easily enough. > > > >>> Can anyone tell me a brand of legal mustard? Guest guest
Eden makes two mustards, Yellow and Brown. These are listed as SCD legal on Digestive Wellness. I admit, I didn't write a letter, have just gone with the ingredients as listed on DW site, and I haven't had any trouble with it.
