Guest guest
Hi Everyone I have been reading your posting for days now. I think it's time for me to join this group. I really have found out more about what I'm about to do then I thought there was to FIND out. I have been taking the Pollyanna out look on this. My friends seem to be more worried then I am and they are having a big time making me little gifts. I now have a necklace with a lovely painted pail as the charm. I guess this is to catch anything that may fly out of my mouth. Then there is the set of bibs. Cute friends. I am going to lunch everyday this week and eating everything that sounds good to me right now. I love to eat and I'm a cook so I eat and taste all the time. I'm one of the lucky ones that I don't gain weight. The Dr wanted me to put on 10 pounds before I do this. I am trying like crazy. I've managed 2 pounds. My husband is also taking the Pollyandy outlook. We will be moving early this summer. ( he is in the military) My surgery is the 26th and on the 30th the group he works with are having a big farewell party for him. I guess when they were asking him what a good date would be he decided that after only 4 days I would be fit and ready to party. I am a tuff Army wife but not that tuff! The the man is killing me, I am wonderwomen most of the time but this party girl will stay home with my pail and bibs. I'm sure I will have lots of question next week. I just wanted to get my foot in the door and say hi to all of you. Always " M "
Guest guest
Very nice to meet you! COngrats on your plans to better your health. As to the party, I do agree...an d no worries, this is sorta scary to outsiders, but been there done that and you can too, no doubt! As to weight, that's me too....I Blended everything post-op...what a beautiful thing...gained, didn't loose and I " can't gain " so i think, stay healthy, eat good foods and blend away...enough calories an d you will be able to sustain your weight. Hang in there, and if you want ideas ask me...Probably not since you're a chef, but never know! JO > > Hi Everyone > > I have been reading your posting for days now.
