Sleep Question

Hello,

My son has been wearing the DBB just about three months now

for 23/7. Ever since he was 2 1/2 months old he has been able to

flip over onto his stomach. Whenever we put him to sleep, in order

to soothe himself he would flip over and then instantly fall

asleep. (even tbough I was not thrilled with him sleeping on his

belly) I usually would turn him onto his back after he had been

sleeping for awhile. Anyway, the last three days whenever we have

put him down for naps or bedtime he has not flipped himself over

once. He lies on his back and just cries to sleep when before he

would just flip over and quietly go to bed. Does anyone think it

has something to do with the shoes or bar? I would think if it did

then he would be uncomfortable and crying all the time but maybe I

am missing something. I just think it is strange that all of a

sudden he will not do what makes him happiest. My husband placed

the bar behind 's shoulders to see if it is too short and it

is about equal or maybe a little shorter than his shoulders. Or, do

I just assume this is normal behavior for a four month old and his

sleeping habits and patterns are just changing? My husband thinks

nothing of this change in behavior but being a first time mom of

course anything out of the ordinary happens and I am concerned. Any

feedback would be great. Our next visit to the doctor is in 2 1/2

weeks.
