Guest guest
Hi , Great to hear you are recuperating well! I am just past 3 weeks post op now for upper and lower. I am working again and still have some chipmunk cheeks but I got to take out my splint and my elastics! Yay! I too drooled for the first 5 days or so, it was sooo gross but funny too. You just have no control. I am getting some more feeling back in my lower lip and chin but it is still kind of numb. Keep up the eating! It will help you recover much faster. I find that I am losing more weight now that I am actually exercising again. For the last 2 weeks I sat on my ass all day watching Oprah and eating lasagna, canneloni and devouring ice cream! Cheers, Jen
Guest guest
I was feeling very nauseas in the doctor's office so he suggested phenergen suppositories. I nixed that idea and asked for zofran sublingually (under the tongue). I ended up not having to use it but felt better having it. After that surgery the last thing I wanted was to make myself feel more uncomfortable if you know what I mean. > > Hey! I can't believe I'm finally posting a " post op " message but > here I am!
