Hi, My name is and I just joined. I am looking for answers.

My husbands insurance will not cover gastric bypass surgery. Has

anyone here been on Social Security Disability and gotten the

surgery done thru them? Can it be done thru them? If you did what

did you have to go thru to get it done. I am currently on SSD for

my knees which are shot because of my weight and degenerative

arthritis. I have also recently undergone back surgery for a

herniated disk. My health is deteriorating fast and I want to get

this surgery done.

Any help would be terrific.
