Mmmmmm are you sure your dentist needs you wires off? I got my

teeth cleaned two months after i had my braces put on and my dentist

was able to clean just fine around the wires. In fact she preferred

the braces to when I had a permanent retainer wire cemented to my top

and bottom teeth in the inside arches because that made the flossing

part impossible. Maybe all dentists aren't comfortable with braces

but there definitely are ones who clean with them. I mean, what is

someone who has braces on for over two years supposed to do, not get

their teeth cleaned at all? This gets me thinking, does any one have

a good dentist to recommend in L.A. and that would be willing to

clean someone with braces? I ask because I'll be visiting my brother

in L.A. just before my surgery and would like to also get my teeth

cleaned there.
