Guest guest
Jane, Hi! I'm not totally positive on what caused my relapse. I know that when I had the surgery the first time, they put wire inside my jaw. It just didn't hold. Slowly, my jaw slipped back...all the way! Now, I have wire in my jaw, and because it moved, the wire is bent in a position where even if I didnt need the surgery done again, they would need to go in and remove the wire. This time, they will be using plates/screws. I am really excited about the results this time. The plates/screws just sound so much sturdier to me. Also, I have an open bite and crossbite they will be fixing this time, which they didn't even mention last time. Oh, and Yes, I did go with a different OS this time. The one who did my first surgery has seemed to have " lost " my records. Sounds a little fishy to me!?! Carolyn > > > > Last friday, March 11, I finally got my braces on.
