Guest guest
OMG....I haven't laughed this freakin hard in a long, long time. I hope I haven't dislodged any of my new sutures!!!!(just had my arms and boobs done) Good Lord can I ever relate. I work for the school system and I remember once during the school year, I had eaten a few too many carbs and of course they turned my intestines inside out. The custodians went in the bathroom about 30 minutes later to clean and came rushing to my office and asked if they could use my phone to call maintenance. I almost died laughing when they called to report that they thought an animal had died in the sewer or somewhere in the bathroom. I am sitting right now with tears running down my face from laughing so hard. So.....what a nice surprise when I read this week that there is something called Devrom. Thank you for bringing it up....actually my family will be the thankful ones!!!!! I've had a bad odor since my RNY surgery two years ago. Because of that, I try not to go to the bathroom at work. But sometimes ya know ya gotta go - and to make a long story short, the person who followed me in the bathroom thought there must be a natural gas leak because the room smelled like rotten eggs. So that person called over two people for their opinion and they thought it smelled like natural gas, too. So they called in three more people and they were all so sure it was a gas leak that they called the gas company to come and check it out. So here comes the guy from Nicor Gas with his gas meter. He checked the bathroom, everything in the office and everything outside. No gas leak - except from me, of course. I didn't fess up to anyone, but when I got home from work I immediately got online and ordered some Devrom. Sure hope it works! By the way, I had RNY surgery at the Bariatric Treatment Center in Belvidere, Illinois, two years ago. I lost 110 pounds in the first year, then got stuck and didn't lose anything else for 6 months. I gained 20 pounds in the next 6 months. Unfortunately, I still have 30-50 pounds to lose, but I'm afraid it's not going to happen. As far as my occupation - I'm a newspaper reporter for a small-town daily paper. I also just completed my first book (nonfiction) and sent it off to the publisher. It's about a Koresh kind of religious leader who ended up being murdered by his own followers.
