Aman is 6 month old and pretty strong, but you are right that the helmet is a bit looser than usual after our last adjustment last Thursday. I think we would just wait for some more time, he actually starts pushing the helmet up mostly when he is getting hungry or sleepy.

Some have had chin straps and have been fine. But I personally wouldn't feel comfortable with it, as it could be a choking hazzard. I just wouldn't feel right leaving them to sleep all night with that on. How old is your baby? Usually, older babies are sometimes (but not often) able to push the band off cause they're stronger, but if he's young, I'd be concerned that the helmet is just too loose. Is that possible? Jake-2.5 (DOCBand Grad 9/08)Jordan-5>> I was wondering whether anybody had to use a chin strap to keep the helmet on. My baby figured out how to push up and get the helmet off. I remember reading Leila's email how her daughter was able to remove the band -- so it happened to us now maybe 3-4 times.

Our ortho thinks that putting a chin strap would be an only option, but I am not sure how effective and safe it would be.> > thanks. Zhyldyz>
