Also, what about people with underlying gut stuff- does it get better with Cpap at all? Well, I don't know about SCDers who have apnea, but I've sure run across a number of CPAPers who could use SCD! I don't know how you guys deal with all that dry air coming in with the eyes/nose/sinuses. Let alone wanting to talk! Now my hubby can really shut me up! LOL's.. I will post on Cpap when I have some viable info. 1. If the mask is leaking air into your eyes, it isn't fitted correctly and you need either a different mask or a different size mask. 2. If they try to tell you that you don't need a heated humidifier, tell them they can guess again. With the humidifier, I don't have a problem. Without it, it would be a real problem. Getting all my results on Monday. Doc wouldn't talk to me over the phone, they said I -had- to have an appt. Tired of docs. Heh, catch that? Tired of a sleep doc. I liked the Resprionics Comforts Series Full Face mask size M. Not sure I recognize it -- can you give me a URL from CPAP.COM? Make absolutely sure that whatever machine you get that it is full data capable, AND that you get a written prescription for both your machine and your mask. And yes, I fully understand being tired of doctors. — Marilyn New Orleans, Louisiana, USA Undiagnosed IBS since 1976, SCD since 2001 Darn Good SCD Cook No Human Children Shadow & Sunny Longhair Dachshund Babette the Foundling Beagle
