Guest guest
Ah! Good for you and oh so much better for your baby than that dang CAR seat (which ought to just remain in the dang car!) s. Babywearing with FAB...it works! I have been wanting to get a sling so I could " wear " Mason instead of carrying him in his carseat (which he hates) so I did the research and we ended up buying a Dr. Sears Original Baby sling. I wasn't sure if I would be able to carry him in the sling, but it works excellent with the FAB! He's very conmtent in it both awake and asleep, as well as nursing. He doesn't actually lie in it, but more like sits facing me with his legs hanging out. If anyone is interested, the website is www.askdrsears.com. Go To the topic " Fussy Babies " and then there is a link to babywearing. Also, if interested in seeing how we use the sling, I can put up some pics! Guest guest
I would love to see some photos!! We have both a Lucky Baby Sling and a Baby Bjorn, and I couldn't figure out how to use the sling with the casts or the FAB, so I'm using the Bjorn... I really don't like it too much, but I have already switched from the bucket car seat and am not going back to it, so I need some way to transport the littlest one into stores. I'm not too fond of strollers at his young age, either. Guess I just want my cake and eat it, too!! :-) You can email me directly if you want... doesn't matter to me... (if you don't want photos of you and baby online) Stacee s.schwander@... > > I have been wanting to get a sling so I could " wear " Mason instead of > carrying him in his carseat (which he hates) so I did the research and > we ended up buying a Dr. Sears Original Baby sling. Guest guest
ee-- are you an experienced baby-wearer? I am a complete idiot when it comes to the sling, as I said earlier, it took me an embarassingly long time to figure out how to put the darn sling on, let alone try different positions. This is the biggest reason I use the bjorn--I know it and it's easy. Sort of. Anyway, if you (or anyone else out there) are good at using the sling and could offer advice from picts of my kids in the sling I would appreciate it! I think my sling is too big, but can't tell, and it's been so long since I ordered the thing that I don't think I can exchange it. I hope to find out later today, as I emailed them earlier. I just want an easier way to carry while he's in the FAB for so much of his day. Thanks (again) in advance! Guest guest
S Thanks for the tip. I tried it out and Mason seems comfy that way too. Stacee, check it out. I took a picture in the mirror so you could see. It is under Photos\Mason. > > > > > > > > > > > > I have been wanting to get a sling so I could " wear " Mason > > > instead of > > > > > > carrying him in his carseat (which he hates) so I did the > > > research and > > > > > > we ended up buying a Dr. Sears Original Baby sling.
