Hi Dama,

I started mine before surgery. I wanted to be as healthy as possible before surgery. For my protein powder I first got Pro Complex. The flavor was ok. You will hear from everyone their flavors of choice because not everyone likes the same. Many have gone through Vitalady.com to get samples of different types to try before investing in a big tub of anything. I personally didn't buy anything there. After I tried that I then got the one at Costco called Promax and that is the one I still use occasionally.You will want one that will give you 40 to 50 grams of protein per serving. That is what is recommended by the nutritionist in SSF Kaiser. I purchase my High Potency vitamins. Vitamin B12 sublingual and Calcium Citrate from Trader Joe's.
