Just keep an eye on it. but this is telling me that his heel still isn't fully seated in the shoes so you'll want to work on that. >I have scanned through a few of the tips files, but some it seems >contradictory...tight shoes can cause blisters, but too loose can >cause friction causing blisters?? no, tight is what you want. Tight is good. Tight does not allow the foot to move, which is friction. And can cause blisters. If the heel isn't seated fully the *wrong* part presses against the heel counter in the shoes. And while they seem tight (or too tight) this is how pressure sores are formed. Don't worry about too tight. It's really difficult if not impossible to make them too tight. >On to 2nd problem. Press on strap and tongue, tighten further if needed. Then when you think you're tight, pull on the heel. If it moves at all, do the above all over again till it doesn't move. >I have some moleskin from our 1st(non- DBB/FAB brace) brace >experience left. But it isn't as thick as plastizode would be, not nearly so. So it wouldn't work the same, yet might help keep the foot in the shoe. >I also read on the Ponsetti file that the open heel shoes are only >made up to size 1?
