Avery taking first few steps at 19 months

Yeah!!... I just wanted to share my excitement with you all... Avery has finally

been taking a few or more steps now in the last couple of days... that is a huge

improvement... we were getting nervous on why she wasn't walking alone yet...

she would walk behind anything and everything but now she will stand alone for

about 30 seconds and walk some too!!!....she turned 19 months yesterday and it

was last night that she was walking across the room.... still a little unsteady

but I think we are going to have a walker now!!! .... her twin sister has been

walking since August (on their due date...their b'day is 6/24).... so it has

been quite a long wait so of course we are so excited!!! We went to see Dr.

Ponseti in December because we just wanted to make sure her foot was fully

corrected before to much more time went by and to see his opinion on what

reasons she wasn't walking yet... he was very happy with her foot and thought

she would do it in a month or so... SO.. her we are a month

later and she is doing it!! Amazing!!! He is an amazing man and what an honor

to meet him!!

We are so happy... just wanted to share that with you all!!
