Guest guest
Hi all: Has anyone had this happen? I put one of my son's older shirts on him a few days ago (it was washday and all his newer shirts were dirty). The next day, when I put his newer shirt on him, he sneaked upstairs and dug that same shirt out of the hamper and put it on. The next day, the same thing. The next day, I got " smart " and hid the shirt in the hamper in MY bathroom. He still found it and put it back on. Today he tried to do the same thing (I had tried hiding it in the pantry until I could wash it again.) So now, I'm washing that same tired shirt and my son can't wait to put it on again. He's never done this before; never shown any preference for any clothing (other than protesting when I bought him a tank top a couple of weeks ago). Any advice for how to deal with it? The shirt he's favoring is a bit small and faded, and I certainly don't want him to wear it every day. Thanks,
