Guest guest
I want to start by saying Happy New Year and I hope this year brings everyone some peace and some pain free days. "WE ALL COULD USE IT" I was at the liver doc yesterday and i was amazed he spent over an hour with me.. not in and out. But along with this brought more bad news. as you all know i crashed in nov 08 and have not been able to get back up .. well i had to have a cat-scan of my abdomen due to sever pain and when i stand you can see a buldge on right and left side and my abdomen is swellon... the liver doc looked at the films for over a half hour along with another doc and he said I have Portal hypertention. so i had 6 tubes of blood drawn and i am waiting for a call from the specialist nurse to schudle a procedure where he said they will make an insision in my neck at the jugular and go down to my liver ..he also said they can try to reduce the pressure with drugs.. and one which i am already on called propanolal but he said it will take a much higher dose. I wish everyone a pain free day and love you all in Pa Many blessings and a pain free day Please support Neurosarcoidosis society
