Carole,

Many people have got the tape/book 'Preparing for Surgery and Healing

Faster'..I'm pretty sure that's the name, but that's definitely the gist. I

haven't bought the book yet, so I don't have any first hand experience, but it

maybe a good thing for people like me (or possibly you ?) who have never had any

kind of surgery before. Btw, I also agree that the web and the DS groups are an

invaluable source of information.
