Welll, um, not perzactly.. At least about the age issues.

I had lower only, which is a lot easier than both, methinks. I also

had a most excellent, skilled, experienced surgeon.

I was 57, almost. No numbness, ever. Not a lot of swelling. A lot of

ugly bruising, but it was gone in a week.

Jane, two weeks is no time at all. You have a lot of healing time

ahead of you.

I would be surprised if numbness increases after the healing time ---

but hey, I am a lay person. I have heard that sensation can return

many months after surgery, which is my best hope for you!
