Hi everyone,

I think it was Marilyn who mentioned EPO; I am not familiar with that

abbreviation; can you please tell me what it stands for?

Also, I know that canned tomatoes are not legal, but does anyone know

exactly why? They really do not have any added ingredients except salt? I

would like to know the rationale behind the rule.

Thanks for all of your wisdom. I have had GI problems for about 7 months but

have not been diagnosed with anything specific yet. Have never had D or C or

any blood; just stomach cramping and nausea, which are getting better with SCD.

But because I am not exactly sure what I have, I did some of my own research by

reading the book " Gut Solutions " ,which is invaluable. I have also discovered

that it takes the right person to help you, and that might not necessarily be an

M.D.

Hi Pam,

EPO stands for Evening Primrose Oil. The oil is extracted from the plant,

Evening Primrose. 1 tenth of it is

GLA, (Gamma Linolenic Acid) and LA (Linoleic Acid) good essential fats. GLA helps calm PMS and menopausal symptoms,

among other things.
