Guest guest
Thanks ~ I will bring some with me and see if they have a microwave to use. I am a little fussy and like to use my own pots/pans to cook things, but this way I can just heat it up in a container=) I'm a bit nervous about contacting the hospital about anything ~ apparently they don't send me any info until *1 week* before my date, and I haven't talked to my surgeon since my (brief) consultation in March of last year. But I will try to come prepared for anything, and hope it all goes well=) Thanks for the input! > > > > > > > > I recently read that after surgery you can only drink clear > > liquids > > > > for a while ~ could someone tell me how long this is for? Guest guest
i would call the hospital anyway. i dont think that would be included in the information they send you, but you never know. it wasn't in any of my information packets. ask if they have a refridgerator patients can store their own liquid diet in and if they have a microwave available to heat it up. maybe mention family or friends will deal with it as to not give nurses more work (if thats an option for you). gina > > > > > > > > > > I recently read that after surgery you can only drink clear > > > liquids > > > > > for a while ~ could someone tell me how long this is for? > And > > > does > > > > > this only include water and juice?
