Thanks ~ I will bring some with me and see if they have a microwave

to use. I am a little fussy and like to use my own pots/pans to

cook things, but this way I can just heat it up in a container=) I'm

a bit nervous about contacting the hospital about anything ~

apparently they don't send me any info until *1 week* before my

date, and I haven't talked to my surgeon since my (brief)

consultation in March of last year. But I will try to come prepared

for anything, and hope it all goes well=) Thanks for the input!

i would call the hospital anyway. i dont think that would be included

in the information they send you, but you never know. it wasn't in any

of my information packets. ask if they have a refridgerator patients

can store their own liquid diet in and if they have a microwave

available to heat it up. maybe mention family or friends will deal

with it as to not give nurses more work (if thats an option for you).
