Guest guest Posted February 1, 2010 Report Share Posted February 1, 2010 northern italian sauces have major french influence but still have tomato base in some instances but this meat saucerelies on richness of tomato paste. If i post it you will understand , not alot of tomato paste but have to figure out how to bypass it lots of differant meats and red wine but paste gives it its richness. we arent big pasta eaters more rice and polenta eaters (polenta is basically grits ) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
