I think that as long as it's a custom made band from Danmar, and the

ortho is experienced, you should be fine. It's the off the shelf

Danmar helmets that I've heard horror stories about.

Sorry if I confused you. I paint, then sticker, then mod podge. When

I want to change it, I just peel the whole thing, stickers, paint

and all, off in big pieces. I did once remove a sticker once it was

mod podged and reused it (my original paint job was terrible and I

had to redo it, but I couldn't get another sticker - it was a

Detroit Tigers D for a baseball helmet), but I had to be very

careful and I only had like 2 layers of mod podge on it. Not sure I

would have been able to do it with more. But generally, once I'm

ready to change it, I just scrap the whole paint job and start fresh

with all new paint, stickers and mod podge. There are some pics of

my son's paint jobs under Jake W. in the plagio/J folder. I have a

couple more designs I still need to add to it.
